Annas shawl
3 (4 if you want a larger shawl) balls of Rowan felted tweed
Pair each of 4,5 mm and 3,5 mm knitting needles.
With 4,5 mm needles cast on 5 sts.
1 row: K1, yarn over , K1, yo, K1 (place marker on every side of this st), yo, K1, yo, K1
2 row: K all stitches
Every odd row K1, yo, K to marker, yo, K1 (always make yo on every side of the middle stitch), yo, K to last st, yo, K1
All other row: K
Go on this way until about 45 gr yarn is left and the number of st on your shawl is multiple of 6 sts + 1.
It is time to start with the edging.
Do not cast of or cut of the yarn, with 3,5 mm needles cast on 8 st.
K 7, sl 1, K1 ( from the shawl), psso (pass slipped stitch over), turn (this row only once).
Row 1: sl 1, K1, (yo, K2tog) twice, yo, K2
Row 2: K2, yo, K2, (yo, K2tog) twice, sl1, K1(from the shawl) psso, turn
Row 3: sl 1, K1, (yo, K2tog) twice, K2, yo, K2, turn
Row 4: K2, yo, K4, (yo, K2tog) twice, sl1, K1(from the shawl) psso, turn
Row 5: sl 1, K1, (yo, K2tog) twice, K4, yo, K2, turn
Row 6: K2, yo, K6, (yo, K2tog) twice, sl1, K1(from the shawl) psso, turn
Row 7: sl 1, K1, (yo, K2tog) twice, K6, yo, K2, turn
Row 8: K2, yo, K8, (yo, K2tog) twice, sl1, K1(from the shawl) psso, turn
Row 9: sl 1, K1, (yo, K2tog) twice, K8, yo, K2, turn
Row 10: K2, yo, K10, (yo, K2tog) twice, sl1, K1(from the shawl) psso, turn
Row 11: sl 1, K1, (yo, K2tog) twice, K10, yo, K2, turn
Row 12: Cast off 11 sts, K2, (yo, K2tog) twice, sl1, K1(from the shawl) psso, turn
These 12 rows form the edging and are repeated throughout.
